That being said, today was my first official day of Observing as a Teacher Candidate !
p.s. Dad I'm writing this for you because I so abruptly hung up today when you asked me about it ahah sorry!!
Let's starts with my perpetrating yesterday! As this was a last minute ordeal I was severely unprepared and did not have the ample amount of hours necessary to make rash decisions, specifically my outfit choice!
So last night began with a mall trip with two of my roomies to hit up teacher ish stores. I may or may not have bought a few things at Forever 21 Jewelery wise, and a few things at Suzy Shear.. One of my roommates had 50% off at SS so we took advantage hard!
We went to the gym to destress and then went hkme to begin the prep!
Lunch
Food
Shower
Outfit
Hair
Clothes
Police check
This thing
That thing
That other thing
Everything
So we did that ahah
For those of you who know me well you'll know that I have aprx .458% confidence when it comes to getting dressed in the morning. It's a complete disaster if I have no guidence. Luckily my roommates knew this and helped me (dressed me the night before. Head to toe! Good people those two <3
I went to bed at around 11 (stupid Ash), and woke up at 5am to take advantage of the full hour and a half that I would need to put my clothes on... I told you I was ridiculous!
Exausted and irritable I get dressed and glam up and get ready! With 4 minutes to go I scarf down my cereal and Roomie photos. Naturally the priorities in the house.
Adorable in my opinion.
Meg and I carpooled to our placements at the far off end of Halton region! Due to the fact that we left almost an hour early than needed we got to the schools an hour earlier than needed. Plenty of time for drinking tea, and going to the washroom and oh yeah FORGETTING YOUR LUNCH!!!! Forgot my lunch in Megs car on the first day of school :( good one Ash !
I went into the school to meet my teacher at 8am and she showed me around the school a bit and to her room and office where I would be for the most part.
Let it be said that my Associate Teacher is hands down the most adorable little lady in the world! She is so kind and helpful and caring it is unreal! I think her and I are going to have a good relationship at the school!
I sat in on her first two classes, then she left for a little while only to return and tell me that her and another teacher (coincidently my friends mom! Who is also amazing and adorable and full of good vibes!) put together a lunch for me!!!!! That is the nicest thing in all of the world!
I finished the day sitting in her office prepping as her next class had a test and 4th period spare. Coincidently I will be teaching the 3rd period class that I didn't observe haha
Needless to say, I'm excited :)
Also, sorry for the delay! Been a busy week!!!!
