Photo House Tour!
As I am in severe need of furniture still, the house is a bit incomplete...but until then it is still home :)
It's a work in progress, but it's home !

Eastside, right on time
I am just the worst at keeping a blog! So sorry!
To be fair, It's been a very hectic week and I have been all over the place!
I am currently writing this while on my first bus ride into Harlow. I'm going today to pick up my BPR, which is like my permanent residence card which lets me stay and hang in this country!
After training last week I made it to my new beautiful house! After all the hassle we went through I am so glad that it is as beautiful as it is! Pictures or video tour to come ;)
I'm missing a ton of furniture still, but I've made due with what I have :)
Once I got to Bishops Stortford I went to go set up my phone and looked around the town, I got my basic bedroom and kitchen necessities, and was on my way! First call: my brother!
Hearing a familiar voice made moving into the new town much easier to deal with. After not so much convincing we decided that I'd come down to Brighton to visit him and the family for the weekend!
My first night in B.Stort was rough trying to figure out the cold shower, and the finicky washer dryer combo, so I was thrilled to be out of there for a few days!
I think managed the public transit well for my first time. I bought a rail cars which gives me a discount, and some tickets to Brighton and back! I didn't go to look around London because of my bag, but rumor has it we might go this weekend! Wooooo!!!
Seeing my family in Brighton was so indescribably unbelievable! I didn't realize how much I needed that comfort before venturing off on my own. It is so weird to feel so much love for a group of people you've never met, but being there was so natural and familial, that I loved every second of it!❤️
I got back to Bishops yesterday and grabbed a Burger and fries from this little Kebabery by the station...DELISH!
This morning I did my much needed grocery run and bought a few more necessities for the kitchen and house.
So here I am now, headed into Harlow with my headphones on and a gleam in my eye;)
Cheerio mates!

Uteach Training Academy Week
Bloody hell that was difficult! Ahhah
The flight ended well and landed safely (clearly), after that I found my luggage and my friends and the UTeach car was waiting for us at the airport! Originally we thought we'd be waiting 9 hours for our car, this was much better!!!
The airport is about 45 min drive to the university we are staying at for Training. We were unbelievable jet lagged, I napped in the back ahah
Once we arrived at the university we finally put face to name with all the people we've been in email communications with for the past several months, these ladies are so unbelievably kind and helpful, it's amazing!
Fast forward a few days! Training was crazy!

In the Ayer ay Ayer ayyyerrrr
What is technology these days where we now have the possibility to blog from an airplane!!!
Okay, well technically I'm not 'blogging', some would call it typing-in-the-notes-section-of-your-phone-during-hour-4-of-the-flight.
TomAYto, TomAHto!
As I mentioned, I am currently on my plane from Toronto to England! Crazy!!!!
The past week (or 2), have been so crazy with the amp up of this trip, I have been restless, anxious, sad, overwhelmed, and crazy for so many days that being on the plane now is a whole new level for me.
Today was a big overwhelming day, I almost cried about 7 times, then actually cried about 37 lol
The emotions that go along with big changes can really mess with your insides...for instance, today I almost had a temper tantrum became my airport outfit wouldn't be as cute or comfortable as my friends....completely valid! No? Whatever.
(S.N. I'm super warm and comfy and not sitting anywhere near my friends on the plane, so it was super unnecessary to worry, now I know!)
After a lovely family breakfast and getting my nails did with my sistah, I headed home to do the final pack up and get ready to go. I did all that while feeling nauseous all day, classic nerves.
Naturally, I sobbed my face off saying bye to my mom, dad and nephew! I'll be back in March, but 7 months is a long time when you're used to being within 2 hour drive.
My sister and brother in law drove me to the airport, both amazingly helped with the overweight luggage and the check in process, then walked me to the gates , where I then teared up, and somehow didn't cry my eyes out saying bye to my big sis and BIL!
I met up with my friend Kathryn and went through the gates and boom! Boarded the plane and here I am!
I'll post this update when I land and have wifi, and then hopefully provide another update !
This is real guys!

England Bound: T-minus 3 days
Now that I've given the blog URL out to everyone at work, I feel a bit more obligated to update and write, which is good because a sense of responsibility is all I need to get started again!
I forgot how cathartic it was to write in the blog, I instantly feel the flow going seamlessly from my brain, through my arms, into my fingers and onto the page.
So ill give a brief update on my life since leaving work - I've run about 60000 errands, almost packed my suitcases 3 times, spent my last paycheck on clothes (no complaints!), and said my goodbyes to my best friend Breanna. It was quite the eventful day! Tomorrow should be about the same, except ill have my mom there running the errands with me. Shes been finding some sort of comfort in reminding me 'how many sleeps' I have left....its not really helping, lol.
I don't have much more to add at this moment, except that leaving has me very emotional, so, lets hug this one out quick.. k thanks!
Talk soon!
Ashley :)

S.N. I'm going to post some pictures from my SURPRISE PARTY!
2 May 2015
Well that was a much needed 5 month blog break!
So since then , we have done Christmas, Birthdays, Moving out of Hamilton, Finishing School, 2 Placements, Moving back home, Going to the Medium, Figuring out Summer Employment, Binge Watching ALL THE SHOWS, Going back to the gym, George Ezra, Booking a trip to Cuba, and most recently..... GETTING A TEACHING JOB IN ENGLAND!!!!!!
and breath.
It has been an eventful five months to say the least! I am home now and happy to be here. It doesn't matter how many times we move, home always feels like home... do you know what im saying.
I am decently rusty at this blogging business now eh?
So I am going to leave it there and do my best to start blogging more frequently instead of trying to recap five months of life.
Happy Saturday!!!
